Battle of Sexes on Valentines day

Mijas members and visitors enjoyed the Battle of the Sexes bowls match to celebrate Valentines day with the men winning 3 of the 5 triples matches and the overall shot count to win 8-4 and take another 3 points from the extra end challenge. Ian Patterson looked pretty in pink and joined the Ladies for the day.

However, after our bring a plate lunch the Ladies fought back to win the Quiz and Clubhouse challenges and take the overall win by a 71 -70. Well done Ladies.

Bill and Jean brought the evening to a close by drawing the Raffle etc. Well done to all the winners as well as the bar, kitchen staff and Committee members involved in the organising of the event.
