Bente & Tommy finalists in Belgium

Congratulations to Mijas members Tommy and Bente Dahlgren who had a successful short mat International Open bowls competition in Belgium, finishing runners up in the Pairs event. They were beaten by a team from the UK in the final.

Also playing in the event and pictured below with Bente was "Mouse" from Holland who visited Mijas just before Covid, Mouse plays at the same club as our ex members Theo and Nel.

Tommy and Bente proudly wore the Mijas club shirts during the qualifying rounds.
