Drawn Triples Winners

John Rimell, Mick Devine and John Wilson had a nail biting 14-13 win over Geoff Collins, Christine Naughton and Ron Fox.

The game was originally started on the 17th Feb, but had to be called of due to heavy rain and the eventual winners took a 6-4 lead into the final 12 ends on the second day of play.

The game was always in the balance and the winners carried a 2 shot lead into the final end , but Geoff Collins had an opportunity to take out the opposition two shot lie and take the title. Despite an excellent bowl he managed to take only a single shot.

Geoff Colins had already secured the Drawn Pairs title with Ian Gray due to the withdrawal of finalists Chris Jewson/Ian Patterson due to injury.

Chris Jewson and Sheila Wilson were both unable to play the Ladies Final due to both being unfit to complete their final.
