FAB Malaga Open Pairs at Mijas

Mijas LBC hosted the FAB Malaga Open Pairs from Sunday 13th thru Wednesday 16th April.

A total of 24 teams entered the competition.

3 x Mijas teams progressed with good wins into the quarter finals and Hans and Kaija were 9-9 going into the 13th end against Kevin and Paul (Lauro) before dropping an 8 and were unable to mount a significant response. All the games were stopped before the 17th end.

The Semi final games were close and high quality despite the gusting wind and 2 shots separated the sides in both games.

The final seen John and Juan taking a 16-3 lead into the 12th end then Paul and Kevin from Lauro pulled it back to within 4 shots going into the last end and eventually lost in a measure to force an extra end.
