FAB Minutes of meeting 9 June

The Minutes for the FAB Malaga meeting on the 9th June have been published on our home page. Following that the Delegado (Doug Hall) presented the Trophy for the Winter (Tigers & Lions) and Spring Leagues to the club representatives.

Paul Hughes (Lauro) accepted the Tigers (Triples) Winter League Trophy

John Wilson (Mijas) accepted the Lions (Pairs) Winter League Trophy

Jeff Rowe (La Posada) accepted the Spring League Trophy.

Summary of meeting-

At the meeting we have agreed that no restrictions will be placed on the use of bowling arms to ensure we retain our aim to include as many participants as possible, although we may list approved manufacturers. Mijas LBC have access to one device should members start to encounter difficulty in bending fully or gripping the bowl to allow a smooth delivery.

We have started generating the Calendar for 2026 and also preparing a questionnaire related to Federation events which we hope to have completed by all our club members in the next few months.
