Gents and Ladies Singles- Drawn Triples Competitions.

As a result of issues in getting the in-house competition ties played in timely manner the Gents Singles, Ladies Singles and the Drawn Pairs competitions will be set on a stricter schedule.

Ties for these Competitions will not be allowed to be held at roll up times. This may prevent members involved in ties from attending a few of the roll up sessions, but it will be necessary to allow us to keep to the dates and finish before our winter visitors leave us i the spring.

The Competition Secretary has posted a list on the Notice Board and members should We confirm that they wan to be included in the draws based on the following playing schedule. If you can not commit to the playing schedule please refrain from entering the Drawn Pairs and consider if you are committed to playing in the Singles events.

PLAYERS ENTERING THE SINGLES WILL NEED TO MARK GAMES AND SHOULD EXPECT TO MARK THE ROUND AFTER BEING KNOCKED OUT AS WELL AS ONE OTHER GAME.

Draws will be made following the roll up Thursday 1st December. We will be attempting to complete the ongoing Handicap and Drawn triples competitions as soon as possible, but given we are now into the festive period members have already started to come and go making the completion of ties very difficult. We will try not to penalise a triple team due to the absence of one player and will allow them to play a round as a Pairs match. However, we will eliminate a handicap singles player if they are not making an effort to complete the ties.

Drawn Pairs- Expect 16 Pairs based on initial interest.(PLAYERS CAN ORGANISE TIMES AND DATES PRIOR TO GIVEN DATES, BUT IF NO AGREEMENT THEN PLAY ON DATE WILL APPLY)
