La Posada Open Pairs- Winners

Four Mijas teams entered the La Posada Open which commenced on Saturday 22 March with the finals expected on Wednesday 26th March.

Ian Patterson/John Rimell (defending `Champions) and Barbara Land /Mary Detheridge won their first game while Alan Robertson/Juan Abeal, Robin Drake/Simon Haskey lost.

Rain stopped play in the afternoon sessions with most of those games being cut short.

The last two Mijas teams lost in their second game with Ian/John losing in an extra end and Barbara and Mary losing in the last end.

The final of the Posada Open pairs was won by Nigel South and Clive Price (Saydo) who beat Trevor Burgin and Jeff Turner (Lauro) 17-16.
