Eoghain O'Bradaigh deserved his two sets to nil win over Juan Abeal in the Gents Championship with Ian Patterson marking the Final.
The Drawn Pairs event seen Bente Dahlgren, Ewan Fraser and Robin (Gus) Drake won an excellent final against Barbara (in plaster) and Tony Land and Sten Eriksson.
Bentes and her threesome had a 9-5 lead by the 9th end then lost 6 singles to be 9-11 up going into the 16th end. The next 2 ends were shared with singles meaning Barbara had a 2 shot lead going into the last end. Every member of Bentes team stepped up to draw within a 1/2 metre picking up the 3 needed to secure the win.
Many of the club members that supported the finalists stayed behind to celebrate with lunch and drinks.
