Mijas LBC AGM key points

Updated: Apr 14

The Mijas LBC AGM was held on the 4th April with an excellent attendance and open discussions on members and Committee proposals.

Those in attendance toasted and thanked our outgoing President Clive Nuttall for his service over the past 4 years following his opening speech.

Ian Patterson accepted the Presidency outlining his objectives and hopes for the future and reappointing Bill Neal as Secretary.

The other Committee posts were retained by the existing Committee with Tommy Dahlgren (Vice President) and Bente Dahlgren (Touring Team Secretary). New posters and roles responsibilities for the Committee have been amended and posted.

Members accepted the 2023 accounts and Budget for 2024 supporting the Committee recommendations regarding Projects and Membership Fees.

The attendees celebrated the members successes in the Open, Federation and In-house Competitions in 2023 and the first quarter of 2024.

Roll up sessions will continue per the starting times agreed and adopted for season 2023/2024. It was also agreed that In house Competitions should not be pre-agreed for roll up times.

The Minutes, AGM Presentation and the 2023 Financial report have already been uploaded to the members page and the IOURs have also been updated to reflect the changes agreed during the meeting.

Thanks to all the attendees for making the AGM a positive experience.
