Summer League results 20 May

Both the Australian Pairs and Conventional Pairs teams had convincing wins against Saydo home and La Posada away respectively on what was a warm and sticky day.

This was week 1 of 6 of the new League schedule. Three of the home matches against Saydo were in the balance thru the first 12 ends, but a strong finish was required to take all 10 points and every Mijas Pair upped their game for valuable points. Lauro had a 10-0 victory against La Posada at home and sit top on shot difference.

The away teams secured 3 wins and a draw in the 4th week of play on what can be a tricky surface against determined opponents. This win lifted Mijas into top slot.
