The Mijas Masters Pairs knockout event sponsored by Ibex Insurance had 28 entries and the deserved winners were Martin Sheehy and Andy Woodings who beat John Wilson and Juan Abeal 19-9 in the final.
Martin and Andy won their semi final in the last end over Mary Detheridge and Nick Cummins with the 5 shots in the 17th end being the key end in the match and enough to achieve a 19-15 scoreline.
John and Juan won in a last bowl decider over Eoghain and Christine Naughton with a 17-16 scoreline.
