Mijas retain Winter Pairs League Title

mijaslbc

Mijas managed to retain the Winter Pairs League with a 9-1 home win against Lauro. 3 of the games were keenly contested throughout and needed a good finish from the Mijas combinations to get over the line in 2 of those games and one game was tied.

It has been decided to shake hands on the result of the abandoned week 11 fixture which had been called off with 6 to 7 ends to play and we will share the result 5-5. The result of the abandoned match has no impact on the League positions irrespective of the result of 2nd and 3rd places.

Lauro had secured the Triple League title in week 11 with La Posada in second place and Mijas 3rd. This Winter season Mijas have managed to include 41 of our members in at least one League fixture this Winter Season. The Swifts Pairs members performance Table is included along side the Final League standings.
