Perfect Pairs & Triples lose out in last end shoot outs.

The Mijas Pairs League team had another perfect result taking their 4th 8-0 win in succession in their rearranged fixture with Lauro at home and will extend the lead at the top of the table.

2 of the Pairs games were stress free going into the final end, but John Rimell and Kevin Bravant had a real battle with the scores tied going into the final end and the Mijas team held their nerve to take a 2 shot and win 22-20.

The Mijas Triples lost 2-8 at home to Benavista and will stay close to the foot of the table and will have lost ground on the teams above. Despite all the games going down to the final end only one of the teams managed to secure the win by a single shot. Congratulations to Benavista who will have made up ground on Santa Maria at the top of the League.

Santa Maria lost 6-4 away at Saydo.

Thanks to Bill Neal for his Umpire duties and Jean for looking after the bar and catering.
