Effective from Friday 11th September the club bar was open for service from the glass door behind the bar to a table outside which forms a serving counter.
Jean (Bills Fiancee) has kindly offered to act a bar staff for a trial period and if successful we can count on her support in this role for the Tuesday,Thursday and Sunday roll ups.
While the bar is open members should purchase their drinks and pre-packed snacks from the club.
However, members will still be allowed to bring in their own drinks out with normal roll ups and scheduled matches to enable us to control access into the club house for the fore seeable future.
The New Normal still requires sports clubs to keep a register of attendance. If you go to the club out with the roll up days you must still fill in the register and circle your attendance confirmation to record that you sanitised pre and post play.
As our green capacity is at 65% we should not have any issues with non availability of rinks for our members currently in Spain and therefor we can allow members to go up out with roll up times, as long as they pre and post sanitise and they do not disturb our scheduled maintenance/sanitisation operations.
NEW NORMAL COVID 19 Rules revision 10th September has been added to the home page of the website and is available in the orange folder located at the club.
Please advise Bill Neal if you plan to visit the club out with the normal roll up times so that he can liaise with our maintenance man to avoid interference with our normal sanitising program.
If you do go up outwith the normal roll ups use rinks 1 and 2 as this will limit any potential contamination and consider taking your bowls away with you to avoid the need to open up the key safe cupboard and locker rooms etc.
Making your pre and post clean up much simpler and quicker for yourselves.
