Andalucian Championships

We have received significant interest from 4 of the 6 Malaga FAB clubs and now have a total of 16 men and 7 Ladies interested in representing our region in this Competition. The Andalucian Championships which will be held in Almeria from 1st thru 4th November inclusive with rinks available for practice on the afternoon before the official start date.

Event will consist of gender specific Singles and Pairs and mixed 4s and Open Triples format.

The enclosed Call Notice has be posted at all clubs to prepare a list of all those interested in playing in the event. Malaga FAB will be given a maximum of 8 entries for each of the singles and Pairs events and only 2 mixed rink and 2 Open Triples entries to ensure the event can be completed within the 4 days allocated.

Conditions of play are not yet available, but games will be restricted to 2hr 30 minute duration with 3 sessions per day.

If necessary we will organise preliminary rounds and or practice sessions to get down to our allocation. The enclosed call notice shows our entry list to date.
