Aussie Pairs Finals Day-Results

Those few members that turned up to support the players on the final day of the event were treated to excellent bowls being played in both semis and then the Final.

Maggan & Classe won the all Mijas semi against Simone/Mary to reach their first ever final in a Federation event.

The all Lauro Semi final went to a tie break with Paul and Kevin scrambling over the line after losing a 4 in end 18 to tie the game.

The Final was 8-8 after 9 ends before the Lauro duo won 4 ends in a row to get into an 8-16 lead. Maggan and Classe then took a 2 then 4 shot ends to bring the game to 14-16. Kevin and Paul managed to close out the game winning teach of the last 4 ends with 2 shots and a 24-14 score which did not reflect the closeness of the game.
