Gerrards Cross Day 2

Mijas came back strong to win all 3 of the Pairs (Bill/Juan, Sheila/Alan R & Tommy/Classe) matches and having lost the first Triples game off the rink by 3 shots (Hans/Mat/John R) it was looking like a 3-2 Mijas win on the day and potential overall draw in the Challenge.

However, Bente, Maggan and Kaija were two shots down on the scoreboard and 2 shots down in the head until Bentes last bowl trailed the jack to make 2 and secure a draw in the game and overall win in the match for Mijas. Well done to everyone involved in the games.

The event was concluded with Pil-Pil and BBQ pork lunch and a few beverages and table games with the the Gerrards Cross boys.

Great time and we look forward to their return in future years.
