Handicap Singles reaches semis

We have progressed to the semi final stage of the in-house handicap singles ahead of schedule. Thanks to the large number of Mijas members who stayed after the morning roll up session to support our quarter finalists as well as the markers and Umpire.

Hans played the game off his life to overcome last years champion in convincing fashion, Tommy overcame one Ann who had been the most impressive performers in the previous rounds and Eoghain beat Barbara who came back from a disappointing start to make a spirited fightback.

The closest of all the games was a 27 end tussle between Classe and Maggan Hernehult and went all the way with Maggan winning the last end shoot out by 21-20.

Congratulations to our semi finalists which is scheduled ot be played on Wednesday 26th Nov at 11.00, we ask our members not involved to come and support the players.

We have no duplication in the finalists of the Drawn airs and Handicap singles and these games can be held at the same time.
