We originally enclosed the Tigers (Triples) and Lions (Pairs) League playing schedules for the coming Winter Season with first fixtures being played on the 11th October.
However, Benavista have advised that they will have to withdraw from the Pairs League due to lack of numbers and there is continued uncertainty as to the ability of La Cala Bowls Club to be fully Federated and ready to star the League.
We will prepare a revised League schedule for the Pairs League and make a separate post.
Once again we will defend the Pairs League Title and hope to make a stronger challenge for the Triples League.
The Home League match on 18th October between Mijas and Saydo will be rescheduled due to a clash with a visiting team commitment. (This date was originally due to be the Provincial Match vs Almeria).
Mijas will retain the Eagles (Triples) and Swifts (Pairs) team names for this coming Winter.
FAB Malaga Federation have decided to clarify the acceptance standard for footwear and Club attire for the various events and this is covered on a separate news item.
