Miraflores duo Win Masters Pairs

After a rain enforced cancellation of play on day one the Mijas Masters Pairs event was completed on schedule with strong winds making conditions very tough for our 4 semi finalists. The 2 teams that adjusted better to the conditions progressed to the finals with identical 17-13 shot wins.

The Miraflores pairing of Carol Cooke and Terry Stone (Miraflores) continued to perform well in the afternoon final when the wind strength dropped gradually through out the game.

Nick Cummins and Mick Ansted (La Posada) played well to keep the score line to a 10-19 loss.
