FAB Open Triples Update

Three Mijas teams entered the event and all played Saturday morning. (light blue, Saydo yellow, La Posada light green, Lauro dark green-mixed club entry white)

Tommy, Bente and Classe were behind early but pulled back and took the lead in the 15th end, unfortunately they then lost a seven in the next end and were never able to recover and the Saydo Triple closed out the game.

John, Sheila and Maggan came through a close match against Ian, Ian and Juan, but a five shot end close to the end changed the complexion of the game and a scoreline that did not reflect the actual game.

The players in the other side of the draw played on Sunday and the games were played to a very high standard.

John, Sheila and Maggan lost to a La Posada team in the Qfs after dropping a couple of costly 4s in the last 5 ends.

Well done to the teams that progressed to the semis, the finalists and the Winners, the umpires and the La Posada members for their hospitality and management of the event.
